Dear fellow Fredonia College students,
Hello and welcome to the Fredonia College Democrats website. I would first like to say that I am very
pleased that you are visiting our website. This semester will be a very exciting, busy and important year for the Fredonia
College Democrats, and all Democrats in this great country. This fall is an election year, and we have the opportunity and
responsibility to elect Democrats to all bodies of government come November 2nd. As members of the Democratic Party the Fredonia
College Democrats are pleased and grateful to be supporting Senator John Kerry and Senator John Edwards for President and
Vice-President of these United States. We also have the opportunity to elect a new Congressman from the 27th district to the
House of Representatives. This years elections are of the very most importance. What is at stake is much more than which party
controls the federal government for the next four years, but the very stability of this great nation. Four years ago George
W. Bush ran for President as a uniter not a divider. Since he entered the White House in January of 2001 the United States
has become more polarized and far less united. Even in the wake of the September 11th terrorist attacks on New York City and
the Pentagon, President Bush's decisions has divided this countries citizens economical and pushed away some of our closest
allies in the world. Now more than ever does the United States of America need a President that will unite it's great citizens
and end the economic strangulation that has seen the greatest surplus in American history fade into the largest deficits in
American history. Now more than ever does this country need a President that is willing to work with the world community to
end the fear of future terrorist attacks, but also a President that will be willing to make the tough call and do whatever
it takes to keep Americans safe. So we will go forth and help carry the message John Kerry and John Edwards have placed before
us in their vision for a brighter future for all Americans. A vision that is going to make America Stronger At Home and Respected
